At Archibalds we can offer finance assistance on any of the vehicles we sell - new, demonstrator, or used cars, for terms that suit your cashflow, and for businesses or private customers. We use two main finance companies -Audi Financial Services and Marac Financial Services, but also use a number of alternatives to find a company that best suits our client's requirements. Our finance department offers three finance products • Hire Purchase. The most flexible of all products with terms from 1 month to 60 months (five years), available from no deposit and monthly, seasonal, or lump sum payment options available, to suit your needs. Can be for private use or business use, when you can claim depreciation, GST straight away (for GST-registered purchasers) and interest over the term • Financial Lease. Calculated the same as Hire Purchase, with terms from six to 45 months (for business use) or from six to 48 months (for private use). The advance rental (deposit or trade-in) is usually paid immediately and there are monthly rentals with a balloon (lump sum) payment due at the end If it is for business use the customer can claim the GST content of the rentals monthly, and up to the entire rental as a cost against their business, thereby reducing their tax liability. The car is off-Balance sheet so depreciation is not claimed For the private buyer a finance lease usually has slightly lower rentals than Hire Purchase as the GST content does not attract interest • Operating Lease. This product is mainly aimed at businesses. One rental is paid in advance, the customer rents the vehicle over the term as ownership stays with the lease company throughout, and the car is returned to the lease company at the end. It is not an ownership scheme. Terms are available from 6 to 45 months To protect your asset the Finance Department offers competitive warranties on used vehicles with competitive charges, low excesses, and can allow you to continue your manufacturer recommended service intervals And to enhance your car, the Finance Department offers Europlates branded with your car's marque, paint and fabric protection to keep the car in top condition, and radar detectors to help you maintain a safe speed on the road.
